"Recently, I've been planning to introduce a wedding dress myself. I'll be attending an international fashion show, so I don't have much time." Chu Jiaxuan simply told them the reason. It was not because of her relationship with Pei Nanjue that she did not accept their invitation.
She had always been clear about public and private matters. Business was business, and private was private. The two should not be mixed together.

The two of them entered the elevator and were speechless. Chu Jiaxuan suddenly did not know what to say to Gong Junchi.

"Then I will make the decision." Gong Junchi opened the door and let Chu Jiaxuan get in. After closing the door, he walked to the driver's seat and sat down. He started the car and left.
The car left the parking lot and headed straight to the city center.
There was a moment of silence in the car. Chu Jiaxuan did not know what to say and could only look at the scenery outside the car window.
Her thoughts had already drifted far away. She did not know why their relationship had become like this. Could it be that if they did not become lovers, they would not be able to become friends?
