The Ex-wife is Back: Please Let Me Go

"No. It's... it's fine, madame. It's young master..." Mrs Chen stuttered and looked up. She suddenly shrank and stopped what she was about to say.    

"Mom, why are you here?" Pei Nanjue said that. When he saw his mother and Chu Jiaxuan come in together, he frowned.    

Chu Jiaxuan followed the voice and looked over. Only then did she realize that Pei Nanjue was on the second floor beside the guardrail. He was hugging Chu Yiyi in his arms. Chu Yiyi was also leaning gently in his arms.    

Chu Jiaxuan saw this scene and quickly lowered her head. She pretended not to look but her eyebrows were already knitted together.    

Sure enough, he doted on Chu Yiyi so much and really brought her home. She really shouldn't have come back...    

Pei's mother saw the woman in Pei Nanjue's embrace and her brows knit tightly. This was Chu Yiyi. She remembered but this woman was dead. This was also one of the reasons why she hated Chu Jiaxuan. She thought that she had many vicious methods and actually caused her younger sister to die. Now it seemed that there was still more to it.    

Chu Yiyi saw Chu Jiaxuan coming in and saw Pei's mother. When she heard Pei Nanjue call her mother, she suddenly realized that this was his mother. After not seeing her for a few years, she almost forgot about Pei's mother's appearance. Chu Yiyi pushed Pei Nanjue away in surprise.    

"Uncle... Aunt, why are you guys here?" Chu Yiyi stuttered and pretended to be sorry for Chu Jiaxuan. "Big Sister, I'm sorry."    

She shrunk back and saw Pei's mother was really nervous. Pei Nanjue felt her waist and hugged her tightly. He used his actions to show that he was fine and let her feel at ease.    

Chu Jiaxuan's fingers twisted the corner of her clothes and gave a faint hum.    

Pei's mother saw that the two of them were unreasonable but was shocked. This was what she did not expect. She pointed at Chu Yiyi in Pei Nanjue's arms and said, "What is going on? Why is this woman here?"    

She did not like Chu Jiaxuan, but in comparison, she did not like the woman in Pei Nanjue's arms. Now that her son had a family, how could she be like this?    

Pei's mother's voice was very loud. She looked at her son angrily. Pei Nanjue's deep eyes were filled with worry. Then he lazily stretched out his arm and patted Chu Yiyi's shoulder. He looked at her with a gentle expression. His thin lips parted and he turned to Pei's mother. "Mom, let me introduce you. This is Chu Yiyi."    

Chu Jiaxuan saw that her eyes were full of love and saw Chu Yiyi smiling like a flower when she heard this. She only felt her heart ache. This was clearly her and Pei Nanjue's home, but these two people in front of her did not put her in their eyes at all. They were so unbridled.    

However, she was no longer envious or jealous. She only told herself in her heart over and over again that it did not matter anymore. It was truly laughable.    

When Pei's mother saw Chu Yiyi and Pei Nanjue standing so intimately together, she became even more furious. Her eyes were about to spew fire. She only wanted to burn Chu Yiyi to death.    

"Alright, alright. I don't care what this woman's name is and I don't want to know what's going on now." Mrs Chen quickly supported her, afraid that she would be angered badly. Pei's mother shook off Mrs Chen's hand and said through gritted teeth, "I won't allow you guys to be together."    

Chu Yiyi felt embarrassed. This was the first time she saw Pei's mother after she returned to the country. She did not expect it to be like this and also did not expect that she would not welcome her so much. She almost blurted out her rebuttal. Thinking that she was Pei Nanjue's mother, she could only lower her head and did not know how to answer.
