The Ex-wife is Back: Please Let Me Go

"Where are you going to play? There are so many things to do every day. " What about you? "There aren't many things to do." Chu Jiaxuan's clear voice sounded in the car. She looked at him with a smile.    

"I still have time to treat you to dinner. Where is Tang Tang? Is he not in the office?" Gong Junchi chatted with Chu Jiaxuan while driving. The two of them really seemed to have not chatted for a long time. They got along very well like old friends.    

Chu Jiaxuan liked this feeling. She liked chatting like this with Gong Junchi. It was as if they had really forgotten the past.    

"He went out to discuss business and didn't come back in the afternoon. Why did you call him over for dinner?" Chu Jiaxuan turned to look at him and said.    

"I'll ask him out again next time. Let him be busy first. I haven't had a meal with you alone for a long time." Gong Junchi's gentle voice sounded. There was a trace of helplessness and a trace of pain.    

"Didn't we just eat together last time?" Chu Jiaxuan said with a smile. They had only eaten together last week.    

"That was last week." Gong Junchi said with a smile.    

As they chatted, they arrived at the restaurant. They heard melodious songs playing in the restaurant. The environment was elegant. It was the European style of decoration. It looked very warm.    

Gong Junchi helped Chu Jiaxuan pull out a chair and let Chu Jiaxuan sit down.    

"Thank you." Chu Jiaxuan politely thanked him and sat down.    

Gong Junchi walked to the seat opposite him and sat down. He looked at her with deep affection.    

The dim light reflected on Chu Jiaxuan's face, making her skin as white as snow. Her eyebrows were like paintings. Her wavy hair was draped over her back. She sat straight and her body emitted an elegant and noble aura.    

Looking at Chu Jiaxuan's current happy appearance, Gong Junchi felt very uncomfortable. She was clearly his, but she was snatched away by Pei Nanjue. His heart was full of unwillingness.    

But thinking about what he was going to do later, he hesitated. If he knew, would he hate him?    

"Sir, Miss, may I ask what you two want to eat?" The waiter walked up to them and said. He handed the menu to them and then stood respectfully at the side.    

Chu Jiaxuan took the menu and looked at the dishes on it. There was a lobster, a Kung Pao Chicken, a sea urchin, and a fruit salad. She then handed the menu back to the waiter.    

"Help me get a bottle of Lafite." Gong Junchi said to the waiter.    

"Sure, please wait a moment." The staff respectfully nodded to the two of them, then turned and left.    

"You want to drink?" Chu Jiaxuan looked at him with a face full of surprise. Didn't he not bring the driver out today?    

"Why don't you give him face? We haven't drunk wine in a long time." Gong Junchi looked at Chu Jiaxuan and said with a warm smile.    

"Of course I will accompany you if you want to drink. Don't you want to drive?" Chu Jiaxuan said with a smile. In the past, when he drove, he would not drink. Why would he drink today?    

"There is a driver coming over. Have a drink. It is okay." Gong Junchi looked at Chu Jiaxuan and said.    

Chu Jiaxuan nodded and did not say anything.    

The waiter quickly brought the wine over and poured the wine for the two of them. Then, he left.    

"Let's have a drink." Gong Junchi handed the wine glass to Chu Jiaxuan.    

Chu Jiaxuan did not doubt him. She picked up the glass and clinked it with him. The glass clanged against each other.    

The dim lights and romantic environment. The two of them looked like lovers. Chu Jiaxuan was persuaded by Gong Junchi to drink a few cups.
