Pei Nanjue smiled. His smile made people feel like they were bathing in a spring breeze. It was surprisingly beautiful. Chu Jiaxuan was clearly stunned for a moment. She had never thought that Pei Nanjue would smile like this.    

    

Before she could wake up from her daze, she heard Pei Nanjue's voice. "What I want to talk to you about is not important. What is important is that I want to eat with you."    

    

Eat? Hearing this, Chu Jiaxuan felt like she had been played by him.    

    

"What you said really surprised me. Mr Pei actually went through a lot of trouble just to eat with me." Chu Jiaxuan smiled. She picked up the cup of water on the table and took a sip of the wine.    

    

Pei Nanjue smiled. "We will have a lot of chances to eat together in the future." He spoke with a double tone and looked at Chu Jiaxuan with a gentle gaze.    

    

Chu Jiaxuan was stunned for a moment when she looked at Pei Nanjue in front of her. She looked at the gentleness in his eyes. It was so unfamiliar that it made her heart ache. In the past, she had longed to get a considerate and gentle look from him. But now, when she really saw it, she actually felt endless sarcasm.    

    

Looking at the mocking expression on Chu Jiaxuan's face, there was a touch of injury in the depths of Pei Nanjue's eyes.

"I specially picked this for you. Do you like it?" Pei Nanjue's low and magnetic voice sounded in the room. His tone sounded gentle.    

    

Chu Jiaxuan heard him and put down the knife and fork in her hand. She looked at his cold expression and opened her red lips. She said bluntly, "Pei Nanjue, what do you want to play? What do you want to do?"    

    

In the past three years of marriage with him, he had never given her anything. But now he treated her so well. He felt that she had left him and did not like him anymore. So he was unwilling, so he had to stick to her, right?
