Evolve from a Tree

C291 Emergent

4The tattooed man saw these strange insects being led. After killing quite a number of bullets, he revealed a satisfied expression. He shifted his gaze, lowered his eyes, stood still with his hands behind his back, and actually had no intention of taking action.    3

Strangely enough, the mercenaries who were used to fighting among the dead didn't have any objections to this. Instead, they started to work even harder to kill the remaining insects and Unotta Soldier.

He had no idea who this man was and how high his position was.

They were like wild beasts fighting for a mate, trying their best to show themselves in front of this man. However, this man had never heard of their actions before. He remained unmoved, and his eyes were incomparably cold.

These mercenaries were like an armory as they used powerful modern weapons to quickly eliminate the majority of the people and insects, leaving only a few who managed to escape.

These mercenaries shouted as they began to chase after the fleeing Spirit Species races, unaware that their every move and gesture had landed in the eyes of an extraordinary eagle in the sky.

Amongst the panicking Unotta people, there was a tall and sturdy Unotta being their new commander. This leader was none other than Gu Wan, and as for the one called Black Light, he died in the first wave of attacks from the mercenaries.

Fortunately, Gu Wan had become more intelligent after taking Su Mu's Spirit Liquid of Life, so he wisely chose to protect himself after sensing the danger. He slipped away like a fish and escaped from danger.

However, the rest of Unotta Soldier was not so lucky. Together with their Shadow Commander, they became minced meat on the ground.

Gu Wan was a little confused. As a warrior who had experienced hundreds of battles, he naturally knew that they were definitely not a match for those 'insignificant people' with their power.

Although they were physically weak, the weapons in their hands were too powerful. Sooner or later, they would catch up and kill the few people who were left.

Gu Wan did not want to die yet. He had not fulfilled his ambition and Su Mu's strategic objective.

It was a tragedy for them too. Not long after Gu Wan secretly instigated the war with the strange insects, these ferocious mercenaries, armed to the bone, suddenly appeared near them.

Unotta Soldier and the weird bug who were fighting didn't notice these mercenaries, which gave them plenty of time to prepare.

We are not of the same species, even if it is against our own kind, humans can still kill us, not to mention these Spirit Species s.

These mercenaries didn't need to give any orders and directly opened fire. After a round of bombardment, the insects and Unotta Soldier had lost most of their combat strength. When the bugs and Unotta Soldier reacted and wanted to counterattack, the second round of bombardment came again.

When Gu Wan thought about this, he felt a great hatred for these mercenaries. If they had appeared a little later, would they have ended up in such a state?

Suddenly, just as Gu Wan felt that he was at a dead end, a voice that sounded like the heavenly music sounded out in his mind.

Gu Wan nodded his head from time to time, the hopelessness and confusion in his eyes disappeared as he walked in a circle, looking extremely cruel.

Gu Wan shouted, and ordered the remaining people to follow him, and just like that, Gu Wan took large strides, bringing the handicapped veterans and fled towards the northwest direction.
