C167 Chills on the Back

C167 Chills on the Back

0Ye Luo woke up to find herself lying on a cold stone altar. Her limbs were sore and weak. The environment was dark and visibility was low. She could barely see what was beside her.

The altar was filled with the pungent smell of blood, and the gloomy and cold air kept seeping into her body. It was so cold that Ye Luo could not help but shiver.

Breathing heavily, she struggled to her feet and looked around. There were six lamps placed in each of the six corners of the altar. The lamps were not the usual orange color, but a cold, dark blue.

Ye Luo could barely see her surroundings clearly from the faint light brought by the six faint blue flame lamps.

There was a picture on the altar. She was standing in the middle of the picture. There was a triangle on the inside. There was a circle on the outside of the triangle.

The pungent smell was coming from it. The pattern was dark red, like a dried up wound.

After realizing what this dark red light was, Ye Luo felt a wave of dizziness. It was as if she could see countless pairs of pale arms stretching out from the pattern, attempting to grab her and drag her into that world of despair.

Ye Luo was so scared that her hair stood on end. She ran to a corner of the altar unsteadily, held a fire lantern in her hand and ran down the altar in a sorry state.

At the end of the altar was a depression. On the jagged walls, there was a small door the size of a person, leading to the outside world.

Ye Luo rushed to the door in ecstasy. She only saw the depression when she got closer. The uneven walls are so because they are encrusted with skulls!

Some were already dried, leaving only a leather bag behind. Others looked as if they had just been chopped off and were still dripping blood not long after they had been socketed in.

Ye Luo accidentally saw two heads inlaid on the door that looked so familiar. It was her parents!

Those gloomy and lifeless eyes were staring fixedly at Ye Luo, as if they were questioning her and cursing her.

"Ah!" A wave of cold air rose from the bottom of her feet and rushed toward her head along the back of the dragon. It was as if Ye Luo was standing in the winter in the middle of a desolate wilderness, being poured a bucket of cold water on her.

Ye Luo felt as if her heart was being tightly clenched. It became difficult for her to breathe, and her mind went blank from fright. Yet, two streams of tears continued to flow uncontrollably down her face.

Ye Luo couldn't stand the excitement. Her eyes rolled back as she fainted in front of the door. When she woke up, she was already on a plane. Next to her, her parents were still talking about some interesting things they had met in the past few days.

It was as if nothing had happened. Ye Luo instinctively felt that something was strange, but she could not say it. Furthermore, she could not recall what she had encountered or what she had seen in that mysterious place.

After being greatly stimulated, the brain selectively forgets those painful memories out of self-preservation.

When Ye Luo thought about it again, she only remembered that this trip was very enjoyable. She went to a lot of interesting places and ate a lot of delicious food.

However, no matter how he thought about it, he just couldn't remember where he had played and what he had eaten.

Thus, Ye Luo and her parents ended their short and pleasant vacation and returned to Shangjiang. Not long after that, the loving couple mysteriously died without even leaving behind a corpse.

Ye Luo was also sick, suffering from the negative energy every night.

Su Mu slowly withdrew from Ye Luo's memory shard and felt a chill in his heart.

"What is this!?"
