Evolve from a Tree

The leftmost book was an A4-sized hardcover book. It was about the thickness of two knuckles, and on the cover of the hardcover book was a blood-red, ice-cold vertical pupil.    

His vertical pupils were vivid and lifelike. When his fingers came into contact with them, he felt a slippery sensation that made his scalp tingle and sent chills down his spine.    

The strange thing was that this blood-red pupil did not give off an evil feeling. There was only coldness and indifference, a completely different picture that was drawn by the Evil God Anzmatt.    

In the middle was a black and red altar. The altar was only palm-sized and was made out of coarse ore. The moment Su Mu held it in his hand, he heard a familiar whisper.    

"This item definitely belongs to Anzmatt himself. It's always whispering like this. I don't know how to change the topic, but I'm getting tired of hearing it."    

Su Mu was filled with despair towards the Evil God's unique aesthetic sense. If he just kept muttering to himself, it would be better to do some floral work.    

For example, the girls would mutter something that would make a man's bones go numb at certain moments.    

If that was the case, Su Mu reckoned that this Lord Evil God would quickly get back on his feet and wouldn't be in such a miserable state.    

This was the difference in thinking.    

The last piece was a fist-sized crystal, reflecting a bizarre scene as if it was a dream.    

Su Mu brought these three treasures with him. He was afraid that the negative energy would corrode them into scraps if he threw them into the Evil God Realm.

If Su Mu was defeated, the only thing waiting for them was death. Not only would they die here, but their tribe would also disappear from this land because of the loss of Tree God's protection.    

"Great Tree God, you are the ruler of thunder, the eternal immortal, the protector of all living things, and the enlightener of all living things. May your fame and kindness spread far and wide, and may your divinity and immortality shine through the earth forever."    

The two of them prayed anxiously for Tree God's safe return.
