C415 Gaze Abyss

C415 Gaze Abyss

2Who was this Old Huckster? He could actually feel Su Mu's gaze from several dozen kilometers away.     3

This kind of sensitivity was number one amongst everyone Su Mu had ever seen.

Even though Old Huckster's perception was extraordinary in all of the Spirit Cultivator, but he was still unable to sense Su Mu's gaze even from a distance of a few dozen kilometers.

He could feel that Su Mu's existence was all thanks to an unknown treasure he found in a certain ruin. This treasure could protect his spirit and also had a strong amplification effect on Spirit Sense, at the same time, it could prevent other people's Spirit Sense from locking onto him.

Of course, the various functions of this Heavenly Treasure were all relative to each other. This Heavenly Treasure could avoid being locked on by people of the same level. If it was placed in front of Su Mu, the effect would be minuscule.

Old Huckster also borrowed the weak reaction of this strange treasure to detect Su Mu's lock and looked back.

Just one glance from Old Huckster, which was tens of kilometers away, caused his entire body to turn cold, as if he was standing naked on an ice mountain that would never melt. Even his soul seemed to have frozen.

Old Huckster's face was ashen, and his eyes were protruding out of their sockets. He just stood there stiffly on the spot.

If someone used the apparatus to observe Old Huckster's body, they would discover an astonishing fact — the blood flow rate in his body and the temperature was slowly decreasing, as if it was really frozen by the bone-piercing cold!

Spiritual interference with reality!

When one's spirit had reached a certain level of strength, the reflection of the spiritual world would reflect upon reality, appearing just like a miracle!

Old Huckster's performance aroused Su Mu's curiosity. When an ant flying in the mud was noticed by a dragon soaring in the sky, it was definitely not a friendly experience.

Even if the dragon itself had no malicious intentions, just a flip of its body, a single breath, an unintentional whisper, and even a flap of its wings could cause devastating damage to the ants.

Su Mu's interest was only slightly piqued, but he had already dealt a lot of damage to Old Huckster.

The round magical treasure on Old Huckster's body suddenly emitted a dazzling light. The strange magical treasure had a spirit, it automatically protected its owner when it realized that Old Huckster was in dire straits.

However, this light had only been released for less than a second before it let out an ear-piercing wail and dimmed down, as if it had been severely wounded. It was like a fragile piece of porcelain covered with fine cracks, ready to explode into smithereens at any moment.

Bang!

In less than a second, this treasure that had survived the corrosion of time had yet to escape its calamity, and it had exploded into a handful of sparkling white powder just like that.

The fine powder fell down and countless white light spots were emitted from within. The light spots seemed to have a mind of their own as they wrapped around Old Huckster's body.

This strange treasure had not forgotten its duty at the last moment — to protect.

The scattering of these light dots from the Heavenly Treasure helped Old Huckster get rid of Su Mu's Spirit Sense lock on him. Old Huckster's stiff body suddenly couldn't hold on any longer and knelt down on the ground weakly. He panted heavily and the grass not far away was dyed with a layer of frost!

Old Huckster's eyes lost all focus as he looked ahead absentmindedly. Deep in his pupils, there was still the remnant image of a divine tree waving its branches.

Old Huckster's consciousness started to blur. Before he fell into a coma, a sentence suddenly appeared in his mind:

As you gaze at the abyss, the abyss stares back at you.

"Gazing into the abyss …" Old Huckster's lips moved, but in the end, his head fell to the side and he fell into a coma.
