Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a man hiding behind a rock garden, watching our every move. I pretended not to see him.
We all went to the law enforcement department, which was very spacious. There was a dining room, a study, a bedroom, and several storage rooms.

We checked every room, but there was no secret chamber or compartment. We searched every corner, but we couldn't find any traps.

Apart from Liyan's bed, there was only a dresser and a wardrobe in the bedroom. I examined every corner of the closet and even knocked on the door to see if there was a secret compartment inside.
Wang Yao, Ya Shu, and the others immediately moved the dressing table to the side, but still failed to find anything.
