The two guards couldn't help but look at each other in dismay when they heard that. They had never heard of such an expert, but there were too many almighty people hidden in the three realms. They couldn't say whether Sun Wukong's identity was real or not.
"Please wait a moment. Allow me to report to my lord," the guard on the right nodded towards Sun Wukong and said respectfully.
"How troublesome." Sun Wukong curled his lips and waved his hand. "Fine, go, go. Notify them as soon as possible, don't let me wait too long."
The guard on the right immediately turned around and walked into the Hong Dian Temple, and quickly found Faang Xuanling who was working under the Hong Dian Temple.
"You mean, there's a monk claiming to have come from the Flowerfruit Mountain's Water Curtain Cave who wants to enter the Hong Dian Temple?" Faang Xuanling put down the brush in his hand and looked at the guard. A strange look flashed across his eyes.
"Reporting to the lord, that's what the high monk said!" The guard cupped his fists towards Faang Xuanling and said respectfully.
"Invite him in quickly!" Faang Xuanling quickly said when he saw the guard confirm it.
"This subordinate accepts the order!"
Hearing this, the guard hurriedly said to Faang Xuanling, then turned around and walked towards the Hong Dian Temple gate.
"Wait!" Faang Xuanling suddenly called out to the guard. Under the guard's puzzled gaze, he said in a deep voice, "I'll personally go welcome him!"
With that, Faang Xuanling directly got up from his seat and walked out of Hong Dian Temple.
Very quickly, Faang Xuanling brought the guard out of the Hong Dian Temple, and directly went up to Sun Wukong to greet him.
"I am Faang Xuanling, may I ask if this esteemed monk is the Hierarch Wukong of the Flowerfruit Mountain's Water Curtain Cave?" Faang Xuanling clasped his hands at Sun Wukong and said in a low voice.
"Yes, I am." Sun Wukong nodded with a calm expression.
"High Monk, please follow me." Faang Xuanling's eyes flashed with a peculiar expression after hearing what Sun Wukong said.
Afterwards, Faang Xuanling directly led Sun Wukong into the Hong Dian Temple. However, they did not arrange Sun Wukong with the group of esteemed monks who had already arrived at the Hong Dian Temple. Instead, they arranged a place for Sun Wukong to stay.
After the arrangements were made, Faang Xuanling rode on a cloud and flew into the palace.
Originally, Chang'an City prohibited flying, and even immortals who came to the city had to abide by such rules.

In Chang'an City, or perhaps the entire borders of the Great Wu Iron Dynasty, Faang Xuanling and Wei Zheng were the only two that possessed special privileges. They were able to enter the imperial study directly without the guards reporting them first.
Hearing the words of the guard, Faang Xuanling smiled, pushed open the door of the imperial study and walked in.
"Your Majesty, your subject, Faang Xuanling, has something important to begin!" Faang Xuanling walked into the imperial study and directly closed the door. Then, he respectfully said to Lee Shimin, who was in the middle of handling the memorial.
"What's the matter, my beloved lady?" Lee Shimin put down the imperial report in his hand and said in a deep voice: "My beloved daughter should be taking charge of the situation at Hong Dian Temple right now. To suddenly come to this imperial study looking for me, could it be that those monks from the buddhist faith have caused some sort of trouble?"
