Chasing After My Wife

GOING ON A DATE II

GOING ON A DATE II

4Travis already informed his father that they were going out so he didn't need to worry. After talking to Riley, Travis went out first to give few reminders to the guards and to the helpers. They will be leaving Gabriel and Winter so they need to be extra careful and quick to help if needed.

Jillyanna waited for him to finish giving instructions to everyone. 'I must be really good in my past life to end up with a husband like him.' Jillyanna thought to herself while watching him from a distance.

After settling everything, Travis walked to her with a handsome smile. "Shall we go?"

"Sure." Jillyanna walked beside him to the garage and got into the car that Travis chose. They wanted to be low-key so Travis just chose the Mercedes Benz which was the cheapest of his collections.

"I wish we can always go out like this." Travis spoke as he drove the car out of the mansion's gate.

"We can spend the weekend for ourselves. Do you have any plan tomorrow?" Jillyanna asked him since she also wanted to spend more time with him.

Travis nodded his head. "I'm going somewhere tomorrow with Diego."

"That's fine. We can go out again next Saturday." Jillyanna retorted cheerfully. Travis smiled meaningfully at her. She didn't have any idea what was on his mind and he didn't want to tell her either.

"By the way, now that we know the gender of our baby, shouldn't we think about his name?" Travis opened up to her since Jillyanna's tummy was getting bigger already. It will turn five months after one week!

"What do you have in mind?" Jillyanna answered his question with a question. She wanted to give his baby a two-word name, one from him and one from her.

"I like the name Raizel." Travis commented. "No particular reason but I like how it sounds.

"Then the baby will be named Raizel Xavier."

Travis glanced at her with a questioning look since she used her father's last name to name their baby.

"As a sign of respect for taking care of me all these years, I don't want to change my last name. I will keep the Madrid. As for the Summer, I've got the twins and Shein to carry on with that and there's uncle Simon, too. As for my father, I want his last name to be remembered, so I'm giving it to our baby."

Travis fully understood her sentiment. Even though she's got millions of inheritance from her father, she didn't want to take everything for granted. Though, nothing really changed even if she wouldn't change her last name. What's meant for her will always be hers.

"Have you contacted Atty. Lewis? He is still waiting for your decision." Travis asked her since they have come to this point of talking about her father which would include what belonged to him.

"I'm planning to talk to him on Tuesday." Jillyanna answered her. Sooner or later, she would have to make a decision and she didn't want to burden Atty. Lewis anymore.

"No matter what your decision is, I will be fine." Travis took hold of her hand and squeezed it. "Even without your inheritance, I can fully provide for us." Travis spoke gently, raising her hand and kissed the back of it. "I will keep our family intact."

Jillyanna smiled lovingly at him, knowing that she can fully trust his words. With their warm and long conversation, it didn't take long for them to arrive at the city that Jillyanna wanted to go.

The city that they were living were also bustling with so much crowd even at night but Jillyanna could feel that the city she visited had twice the number of people.

Travis found a parking lot not far from the mall that the two of them were going. He looked at the place before looking at his watch.

"We still have an hour before the movie starts. Would you like to walk around?" Travis asked her before they came out of the car.

"Sure." Jillyanna already planned something in her mind before she came out. She didn't wait for Travis to open tha car door since she could do it herself.

Travis held her hand and placed it inside his coat pocket to keep it warm. "It's been a while since I last visited this place."

"Did you invest something here as well?" Jillyanna asked since most of the time Travis would only travel due to work. However, he actually shook his head.

"I have a college classmate who's very well-known here. If city B is my turf, City A belongs to him. He owns a chain of hotels and restaurants plus several malls."

"Really?! That's awesome. Are you close with him?"

"Not really close. I can say that we keep each other at arm's length, though we don't really compete with one another. I left him on his own accord and he does the same to me. He didn't like involving in my business and I feel the same way towards his business. I can say that we have respect for each other."

"Well, that's better I guess. As long as he doesn't make a move against us, I think we can live in harmony."

"You are right." Travis and Jillyanna walked around the street and observed the people coming to and fro.

Just in time, when they reached the city time square, a huge and booming flowers of firework lighten up the sky.

Everyone stopped and looked up to watch the fireworks display. It looked so lovely and the reflection made Jillyanna's eyes sparkle.

Instead of watching the fireworks, Travis was watching her reaction. He suddenly pulled her even closer and tilted her head.

For a moment, the only thing that Jillyanna saw was a silhouette of someone looming over her. Then, came a light kiss on her lips which made her heart skip a beat and sent fluttering wings of butterflies on her stomach.

Travis nibbled her lower lip for a few seconds before letting her go with a satisfied smile. "I got hungry while looking at you."
