The Doctor Who Loves Me

Yera left working in the hospital and kept herself in a relaxed position. She spent most of her time eating, reading, watching dramas or playing with her in-laws, while waiting for the wedding ceremony of her in-laws. The day where she could see and be with her husband for a short period of time, a few stolen hours away from everyone, just for each other.     

She found it difficult to wait for that day and while she rested, her entire consciousness was swept away to Xander only.      

"Baby… I'm sure your daddy will be surprised when I tell him, right? Or maybe he won't be since he's already sure of your presence and is already expecting you. But I'm sure he will be too happy once mommy tells him about you. You have to stay strong and make sure to clamp yourself well, if mom misbehaves again and gets stressed, you hold on tightly to mommy's womb, hmm…" Yera murmured while she gently caressed her tummy and thought about how her stress had resulted in her miscarriage last time.      

She knew it was still early and a little childish to talk with the baby like this, since their baby was just a small bud, but yet she had a habit of talking to their baby often like this.     

"I miss your daddy so much but we have to keep relaxed and wait for him to complete what he had gone for and come back safe and sound for us." Yera tried to comfort herself despite the longing for her husband.      

Never had she thought in her entire life that with her such cold heart she would be with someone and grow such deep feelings like she had for Xander now. She never knew she would love anyone like this in her life and a single day without that person would feel like a punishment to her.      

She really missed him… every minute of the hour, every hour of the day and every day of the week...     

Yera could not even wait for the wedding date of her in-laws and be with her husband. She was not content with the long distance relationship they were having these days… but...     

She was lost in her thoughts when her mobile phone rang and saw it was Regan calling her.     

"Madam, someone wants to visit you there. Dr. Yao from the medical center. Should I allow her to enter? We have thoroughly checked her already, and she's clean." Regan reported. They were very strict though Dr. Yao was part of their employees, she was still new and they could not let anyone just enter the premises of the mansion.     

"Hmm, alright you can let her enter. I will wait for her in the garden. Has someone escorted her there." Yera answered and went out of her room to see her unexpected visitor.      

"I'm surprised by this visit?" Yera casually smiled at Dr. Yao who was already sitting on one of the chairs in the garden.      

"I just missed you so I stopped by after my duty hours." Dr. Yao plainly murmured.     

"What?" She burst followed by a grin seeing the awkward and doubtful expression of Yera.     

"I just wanted to see how big you have become already. But there is yet no change to my dismay… sigh!! I actually brought some sweets for you, so you'll grow bigger sooner. The bigger and ugly shape you can be, the better for me in my mission. Much easier to seduce your man, right?" Dr. Yao teased.     

Yera's face crumpled. "Why do you always talk sh*t with me?" Yera could not help but chide.     

"Hmm, I guess it's true women do become moody when pregnant. Look at how irritated you are right now." Dr. Yao teased her a little more, enjoying Yera's wrinkled face.     

"It's positive, right?" Dr. Yao reconfirmed and Yera nodded.     

"Congratulations then. I guess I can go easy on you from now on. I hate hurting pregnant women," Dr. Yao murmured with a grin.     

Dr. Yao sarcastically looked around then commented, "I guess your life is in danger too. The security is very tight, so I have to leave my mobile phone before coming in. Maybe next time I will visit you wearing just a bikini so it will be a little less hassle for those boys to check on my things."     

Yera only shrugged her shoulders.      

"The mansion is quite big and beautiful. It's my first time here. Oh, how I would love to tour around and get some selfies but my mobile phone is with those men." Dr. Yao commented.     

"Sorry but touring is not allowed. It's not our mansion and bro Ryu wants it to keep extremely private, so I'm also meeting you here outside in the garden," Yera explained and Dr. Yao nodded in understanding.     

The two had some more funny conversations and Yera never thought that Dr. Yao could be someone she would be comfortable with, though she was still tactless. She said what was in her mind most of the time.      

Before leaving, Dr. Yao asked Yera where the restroom was.     

"Hmm, let me escort you there," Yera volunteered.     

"No, I got it. The first hallway from the right. Stay here and finish those snacks you're eating." Dr. Yao insisted, so Yera nodded.

Back at Yang Globals Hospital     

Rui looked on his couch while Cali was brushing her teeth in his restroom.     

He heaved a long sigh as he contemplated whether or not to sleep on the couch with Cali.     

Unlike his bed in his house that was too big, the couch in his clinic was very small, where there would not be enough space for him and Cali. Limited space was not a good idea for them as of now.     

"I think sleeping here is not a good idea." Rui muttered. Cali who went out from the restroom heard it.     

Now he could understand the good of having a private room like Xander. The latter offered it to him to make a private room in his clinic but he refused saying he preferred to stay in his home and besides he was always out to travel so it was not necessary.      

'Xander really knows to enjoy life… huh!'     

"Huh? Why? I told you to go home, didn't I?" Cali mumbled with pouty lips.      

Rui turned around and smiled at her. He sat on the couch and signaled Cali to sit beside him.     

"You see… Getting near you in a small space makes me feel… Hmm… Excited and raunchy." Rui muttered followed by a long sigh.     

Cali's face blushed, and she gasped when she felt Rui's face snuggled on her neck. No, he was not there to snuggle but to suck her neck like a vampire.     

She suppressed herself to giggle but she couldn't so she ended up laughing.     

"It tickles." she breathed.     

"Where? Here?" Rui playfully asked and sucked the other part of her neck. He did not dare kiss her lips, afraid that he would go further, so he satisfied himself by sinking his lips and teeth on Cali's neck and pulled her on the couch in his embrace.     

After quite some time, Rui fell asleep since he was really tired.     

Cali silently and carefully rose from the couch and watched Rui in his peaceful sleep. She smiled, feeling wonderful on how her relationship was progressing with Rui. She could tell that she was gently but surely squeezing in inside Rui's heart.
